Yesterday me and kitten went to see Spoon at The Polyforum Siqueiros, it was the first time we'd ever been inside the space and I have to say it has great acoustics and Spoon was amazing, they are all pros and eventhough the singers voice was suffering he still played the whole set and rocked it. The Polyforum was built in the 1960s by Manuel Suárez y Suárez, who invited Siqueiros to design and decorate the building. Siqueiros came up with a dodecahedron-shaped structure for which he painted murals on most of its surfaces (kitten76 has pics of the outside murals if you want to see them). The inside mural is among the most famous and it covers the entire walls on the building's top-floor elliptical forum and is the world's largest mural. The painting depicts humanity's evolution from the past to the present as well as a vision of the future, here are some pics of the night... enjoy!
